This course provides a background that will prepare students to review and to critique research studies. It is one of two sequential courses in the master program in nursing. Students are expected to actively participate in each class using critical and creative thinking. Students must comprehend, compare, analyze, and evaluate the assigned original articles objectively and critically. A balanced appraisal of a research report is required based on the principles and logics of research methodology.
