This course is intended to give MBA students a good grounding in the terminology of Operations Management and an overall perspective of Operations Management within the context of the organization. Though the course contents, as shown below, could be enhanced in a number of ways, it is designed to emphasize a case discussion as opposed to lecture approach. That is, in each class, cases are assigned as material to be read and presented by students prior to study of the chapter and discussion of the material in class. Presenters will be chosen randomly at the beginning of each class, so that all the students would be inspired to well prepare in advance for the case discussion.
