課程簡介

慢性病是影響中老年健康的重要因子,因此具備能夠設計及分析釐清老年慢性病發生與管理之影響因子,在台灣的老年學研究裡相當重要。由於Biopsychosocial health 為當前了解健康的主流架構,而生命歷程觀點(Life course perspective) 為近年來社會流行病學蓬勃發展之研究取向,本課程除了培養研究生對常見中老年慢性病其流行或疾病管理歷程有基本之瞭解外,旨在提升研究生運用生命歷程觀點及各種流行病學方法以增進對老年慢性病相關問題的研究能力。

 

課程目標:

        學生在修習完此課程後,將可以具備以下能力:

  1. 瞭解常見的老年慢性病之篩檢、診斷、流行、與病程發展
  2. 瞭解慢性病對老年人生理、心理與社會健康之影響及常見疾病管理問題
  3. 理解並具備能夠以生命歷程觀點,釐清老年慢性病的致病成因與不同疾病管理歷程
  4. 具備能夠設計分析老年慢性病(或共病)其流行或疾病管理與生命歷程之社會心理因素關係之研究
  5. 具備批判慢性病社會流行病學實證論文之能力

期中口頭報告指定文獻部分

30%

學生自選7-16週之主題兩個,針對課程指定閱讀、自選SSCI文獻及疾病簡介進行口頭報告(兩人一組,一人報告約一小時十五分鐘)。需於報告前一周(或更早以前)與老師討論所有報告的大綱與選定文獻(若不確定要報告哪篇,可與老師討論),並於周一晚上12點以前上傳PPT與自選文獻原文至MOODLE。

期中口頭報告疾病介紹與自選SSCI 文獻評析部分

期末口頭與書面報告

40%

此報告為引導碩班學生找到喜歡之研究題目並具備良好的研究方法而設計。在學期中分段將書面報告之內容以書面繳交,並於期末進行口頭報告(1小時)與提交最後書面報告(7-10頁,12號單行間距 )。

書面報告內容包含:(a)abstract, (b) introduction/background, (c)   objectives, research question/hypothesis, (d) study design, (e) study   participants, (f) data collection/measurements, (g) analytical methods, and (h)   public health impact of results。
